Do you have a valuable family heirloom that had a rough travel to its new home? Did you find a rare gem in an antique shop? No matter what the reason your special piece has fallen into disrepair, we would be happy to take a look at it for you.
We are one of the only stained glass shops in the region that provide cleaning and repair services for stained glass work. It's a time consuming, labor intensive process but the results are always incredible. We are happy to work with insurance companies or military claims agencys to see that the piece has a chance at restoration. Please bring the entire piece into the studio if possible for a detailed estimate on repair labor and costs.
We have a gorgeous selection of glass pieces for every budget in our gallery. All of our pieces are made locally by talented artists. Browse through our sumptuous selection of jewelry, our breathtaking panels, or the brilliant lamps. We're also proud to have an expanding collection of green art! Bottles, Cans and recycled window glass have been transformed into unique, delightful candle holders, jewelry, pencil cups, trays, wine bottle stoppers and so much more! It's truly amazing what can be reused, reduced, and recycled.
We also recommend a trip to our gallery if you are considering glass for your home. We have examples of possible cabinet designs in our classroom and our gallery is a wonderful source of ideas. In addition, sometimes the glass lets you know where it belongs - looking through our "candy room" of hundreds of sheets of glass might be just the inspiration you need!
Bluebird Studio boasts a very impressive inventory of glass, tools and sundries for glass artists. In our well stocked "candy room" you can browse through hobby sheets (buy four get the fifth one free ALWAYS)or look through or selection of larger stock to find the perfect swirls and textures for larger panels. And what studio is complete without doo-dads and thing-a-ma-jigs? We've got those too.
Is your home studio space cramped? We rent studio time (which includes basic tools) on Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays. Call to find out in there are available spaces left at the table this weekend.
